Natural Awakenings Greater Boston - Rhode Island

An Unforgettable Weekend of Vegan Food, Art and Sustainability Awaits

The fifth annual RI VegFest will take place from noon to 5 p.m. on February 1 and 2, 2025, at the WaterFire Arts Center, in Providence, Rhode Island. Attendees—whether vegan, vegetarian or simply curious about how plant-based living can make a positive impact on their health and the planet—will explore more than 85 plant-based vegan restaurants, makers, artists, retailers and nonprofit organizations.

VIP ticketholders will enjoy exclusive early entry at 11 a.m. on both days and receive an RI VegFest tote bag filled with samples, deals and giveaways from local and national vegan-friendly brands.

All attendees will have the opportunity to shop for unique items, discover new brands dedicated to sustainability and plant-based living and indulge in a diverse selection of delicious vegan food options. There’ll also be a vibrant bar with vegan mocktails, cocktails and local beer.

“This year’s VegFest will be bigger and better than ever,” says co-organizer Robin Dionne. “We’re dedicated to creating a fun and welcoming space for all, and our goal is to support vegan and vegan-friendly businesses while making plant-based options more accessible to everyone.”

The event will also feature a book swap where attendees can bring gently used books to exchange with others. Free parking is available at the indoor event venue and attendees are encouraged to bring their own reusable tote bags.

General admission: $10. VIP tickets: $20. Children under 4: free. Pets are not allowed; service animals are welcome. Location: 475 Valley St., Providence, RI. Tickets are available at Eventbrite (Tinyurl.com/RIVegFest)
