Pharmacist-Guided Blood Pressure Monitoring Program
Nearly half of U.S. adults are affected by hypertension, but only about 25 percent have it under control. To help manage this condition, Theatre Pharmacy, in Lexington, Massachusetts, is offering a blood pressure monitoring program. By purchasing a special card, customers can access six 15-minute consultations with a pharmacist. After taking a blood pressure reading, the pharmacist can review medications and provide personalized advice on lifestyle changes to better manage blood pressure.
This program can benefit individuals with high blood pressure, those that prefer a pharmacist to take their readings and those seeking help optimizing their blood pressure medication regimen. Research shows that involving pharmacists in healthcare teams can improve hypertension control and other cardiovascular health outcomes. Regular monitoring helps identify concerning changes in blood pressure early, allowing for prompt intervention.
Theatre Pharmacy boasts a rich history, having served the community from the same block since 1935. Now owned by brothers and pharmacists Raied and Saad Dinno, it remains a family-run business within the Dinno Health family of independent pharmacies. Known for its personalized care, the pharmacy offers attentive service with minimal wait times and a dedicated team committed to the health, safety and emotional well-being of every customer.
