Swami Amritaswarupananda Puri Tour Comes to New England
(L-R) Swami Amritaswarupananda Puri and Amma
Carrying Amma’s message of universal love, compassion and peace, Swami Amritaswarupananda Puri, Amma’s senior-most disciple, will conduct a free public program from 6 to 9 p.m. on December 7, 2024, at the New England Shirdi Sai Temple, in Groton, Massachusetts. The uplifting event will include a Satsang talk, devotional singing and time devoted to ask him questions.
Swamiji has been instrumental in expanding Amma’s mission from its humble beginnings in Amritapuri, in southern India, to a global network of organizations spanning spiritual, humanitarian and educational fields touching millions of lives. A distinguished scholar, a prolific author and a gifted singer, Swamiji’s eloquent talks have enlightened audiences worldwide on topics ranging from spirituality and inner growth to sustainability and environmental consciousness.
Beyond his literary contributions, Swamiji is a gifted singer and composer of bhajans (devotional songs), captivating hearts with his soulful melodies. As the International President of Amma's Youth for Unity, Diversity and Humanity, an international youth movement he initiated in 1989, he empowers young people to foster peace and sustainability, instilling in them values of tolerance, solidarity and global responsibility.
