Saad Dinno, pharmacist and co-owner of West Concord Pharmacy, recently was recognized by the Concord Chamber of Commerce as the 2018 Business Person of the Year. He received the award at the Chamber’s annual dinner on October 11, where more than 80 guests were in attendance.

Dinno and his brother, Raied, who is also a pharmacist, co-own Acton Pharmacy, West Concord Pharmacy and Keyes Drug, in Newton.

The recognition by the Chamber was the latest in a series of awards and honors for Saad, including the Margaret Bauman Outstanding Medical Professional award in 2006 for his work serving the needs of the autism community. Also in 2006, Saad was named Massachusetts Innovative Pharmacist of the Year by the Massachusetts Pharmacist Association. In 2014, he received Professional Compounding Centers of America’s Dr. M. George Webber Compounding Pharmacist of the Year award.

“I am so honored to have been selected for this award by the Concord Chamber of Commerce, and I am equally honored to be able to work in this community,” Dinno said. “The people of Concord and the western suburbs have been so welcoming to our family and our pharmacies; it is a great privilege to serve them.”
