Natural Awakenings Publishing Corp. (NAPC) welcomed four new publishers to a November training session at the corporate headquarters in Naples, Florida. The NAPC staff spent several days with these entrepreneurs, discussing the ins and outs of publishing a new Natural Awakenings edition in Spokane, Washington, and taking over publication of existing magazines in Oklahoma City, Wayne County, Michigan, and Volusia and Flagler counties, Florida.

Founded by Chief Executive Officer Sharon Bruckman with a single edition in Naples in 1994, Natural Awakenings has grown to become one of the largest, free, local, healthy living publications in the world, serving 4 million readers each month via 95 magazines published in cities across the U.S. and in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.
