June Symposium in Berkshires on Medical Qigong and Oriental Medicine
The first annual Medical Qigong and Oriental Medicine Symposium will take place June 10 to 17 at Eastover Estate and Retreat, in Lenox. The gathering will include grand masters Junfeng Li, Mantak Chia, Robert Peng, Lee Holden, Michael Winn, Solala Towler, Jianye Jiang, Lonny Jarrett, Shifu Hwang, Karin Sorvik and Mark Setton.
“It’s unprecedented to have such a group of world leaders in the fields of qigong and Chinese medicine coming together for all to really experience their teaching and presence,” says Eastover founder and partner Yingxing Wang. “These masters will help participants with physical and spiritual healing, reducing stress, increasing tranquility and gaining insight and wisdom.”
In April, the center is offering an opportunity to study a 700-year-old Taoist transcript on the use of Traditional Chinese Medicine to cure various forms of cancer and its root causes. Eastover will celebrate World Tai Chi and Qigong Day from April 29 to May 1 with special guests from around the globe, and has also launched a Certification Program in qigong, tai chi, mindfulness and Eastern medicine. Eastover offers affordable lodging, and camping is also available.
Cost for June symposium: $700. Location: 430 East St., Lenox. For more information, call 866-264-5139 or visit Eastover.com.
