The Empowerment Factory (TEF) is dedicated to helping children develop the skills they need to lead happier, healthier, more empowered lives. Since its founding as a nonprofit in 2014 by Executive Director Gail Ahlers, TEF has provided Rhode Island youth with transformational enrichment programming.

The organization has partnered with a range of school, youth, and governmental organizations to conduct in-school, after-school, and summer learning programs as well as community events that have positively impacted over 7,000 youth, 90% of whom live in underserved communities.
