Groundbreaking Mental Health Conference Unites Traditional, Holistic and Integrative Methods

The Rhode Island Holistic Healing Association (RIHHA) presents the New England Mental Health Conference: Changing Times, Empowering Wellness—a unique, in-person, academic event offering a fresh and forward-thinking perspective on mental wellness—from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on November 1 and 2, 2025, at the La Salette Retreat Center, in Attleboro, Massachusetts. The conference will bring together a unique blend of traditional, holistic and progressive approaches aimed at creating more effective and compassionate mental health care.

“There is a growing interest in holistic, person-centered approaches that honor the mind-body-spirit connection,” says RIHHA President Vandana Pitke. She adds that many sessions at the conference will be experiential in nature including Cacao Ceremony, Meditations and Expressive Arts.

The conference is accredited 14 CEUs by the National Association of Social Workers. Further, RIHHA has submitted to the American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA) for approval to award contact hours. The AHNA is accredited as an approver of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nursing Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Cost: $279 to $329 (plus $25 for CEUs). Location: 947 Park St., Attleboro, MA. For more information or to register, visit rihha.org/mhc2025.
